Welcome to my home on the internet! Here I’ll be sharing some of my favorite lifestyle hacks, budgeting tips, and dating ideas. You’ll definitely see photos of my pets (You’re welcome!) and some mindful living ideas as JT and I work together to make our first home, the cutest little midcentury bungalow in midtown Tucson, all our own!
Kathryn and Camron have a Disney fairytale kind of love, and being a part of telling their love story has been so incredibly rewarding. Their Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch Wedding could not have been any lovelier than it was. Even the weather suddenly changed to give them the perfect day. Seriously, one week before their wedding it was SNOWING in Arizona. And one day after their wedding it was pouring freezing rain.
But on Kathryn and Camron’s wedding day God cleared the skies, and sun shone warmly on them as they exchanged their own vows at Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch. I think everyone there cried at least once during the ceremony – especially during the vows. Kathryn and Camron both definitely did, and that is a rare occurrence for them both. But in this moment it was right. The joy and emotion was palpable, and all their anxious anticipation just washed away.
Speaking of anxious anticipation… I want to give y’all a little peak into both getting ready rooms. Camron couldn’t sit still in his room. His legs bounced when he was sitting and I saw him stand up and walk around a few times. Kathryn also couldn’t sit still in her room. She actually was shaking just a little bit with anticipation. It was like watching them through a mirror. Perfectly matched. And then something happened. When Camron read Kathryn’s letter to him he sat still and calm. When Kathryn read Camron’s letter to her she sat still and calm. It was like just that one small connection with their future spouse brought them peace and joy. I’ve never seen two people more in sync.
Sometimes I wonder if God really makes one true love for another person. Well I believe God truly brought Kathryn and Camron together for a reason, and I can’t wait to see where their lives go.
Kate and Cam, thank you for trusting me with your love story. From high school sweethearts, to college graduates, to new employees y’all have had a life full of adventure. My prayer for you is that you continue to grow in each other and in God. And I’ll leave you with a reminder of the verse Mikey shared during your reception. Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. I love you guys!
And of course no wedding day would be complete without the help of amazing vendors. So I want to give a huge thank you to the creative team!
