Every month since Christmas JT and I receive a Crated with Love Date in a box and we look forward to it every time! If I’m being really honest when I saw this date nights theme I wasn’t the most excited I’ve ever been. I’ve never gotten into the zombie apocalypse thing. I never watched the Walking Dead, or planned out my zombie survival plan. But actually doing the date box with my husband was a TON of fun!
This months theme is conflict resolution so I can totally understand why they chose the zombie apocalypse as the setting. Obviously, most of our conflicts aren’t quite as intense as zombies taking over the world, but if you let them fester (pun intended) the small conflicts can still have big impacts!
Focusing on teamwork and supporting one each other in this months box couldn’t have come at a more opportune time. We just moved to a new apartment complex and let me tell you honestly that that did not come without conflict. The two big conflicts were: 1. Do we hire professional movers? And 2. Do we do our own laundry now that we don’t have a washer and dryer or do we have it sent out?
I’m happy to tell you that we hired professional movers, and we both ended up agreeing that it was the best decision we could have made! But we still haven’t landed on the perfect solution for not having a washer and dryer in unit anymore! If you have any tips I’m all ears! Anyway back to the date box it included a special card to help with conflict resolution needs and it was definitely very helpful in our discussions!
And of course there were individual date activities that were a lot of fun! I talk about those in more details here:
AND this months date in a box included a special bonus! Frank the conflict resolution zombie who is so ugly he’s cute!
You can get your own Crated with Love date box here!
Please note/disclaimer: Crated With Love provided me with this date box at no charge in exchange for photos of the box, but all opinions are fully mine. And my husband and I enjoy them so much that I purchased and gave one as a gift to all of my 2018 wedding couples for Christmas!
