Welcome to my home on the internet! Here I’ll be sharing some of my favorite lifestyle hacks, budgeting tips, and dating ideas. You’ll definitely see photos of my pets (You’re welcome!) and some mindful living ideas as JT and I work together to make our first home, the cutest little midcentury bungalow in midtown Tucson, all our own!
There is so much I could say about Robbie and Mary, and none of it would be enough to capture their personalities. What I can say is that photographing their Shadowridge Golf Club wedding was 110% a blessing. You know how you hear something will always go late on a wedding day? Well, absolutely nothing went wrong on their wedding day. It was pretty much a fairytale from the very beginning!
The closest that something came to going “wrong” was arriving to the ceremony site a little late. But Mary was so organized, and her timeline so forgiving that we weren’t even late for the ceremony! Mary is one of my favorite brides, friends, and even people! All through the wedding planning we’ve been chatting via Facebook messenger. And every time I’ve gotten more and more excited!
Why were we chatting via Facebook messenger? Because Robbie and Mary live in New Zealand! But Mary is from San Diego… And they didn’t even meet in New Zealand! Oh no. This couple is the definition of fate, and you can read all about how they met and check out their engagement pictures at Disneyland here! But I’m so glad they made the trip back to California for their Shadowridge Golf Club wedding!
Anyways, back to the wedding. If you know me at all you know that I ADORE first looks. And Mary had two! I can’t decide if the father daughter first look or the bride and groom first look was my favorite! I cried during both of them. So y’all will have to decide!
When Mary and Robbie saw each other for the first time it was like magic. Every touch and glance had worlds of meaning behind it. I fell more in love watching them be in love. And their families and friends were the exact same way. People traveled from all over the world (literally) to celebrate this union. And it was quite a celebration!
Mary and Robbie, being your friend has been amazing. Being your photographer even more so. It may have been more of a joy for me than it was for y’all. Documenting your love story will always be one of my favorite moments! Thank you for trusting me. I can’t wait to see where this life takes you. And I can’t wait to see each other again soon! 💕
