Welcome to my home on the internet! Here I’ll be sharing some of my favorite lifestyle hacks, budgeting tips, and dating ideas. You’ll definitely see photos of my pets (You’re welcome!) and some mindful living ideas as JT and I work together to make our first home, the cutest little midcentury bungalow in midtown Tucson, all our own!
Seek and Swoon is one of my favorite throw blanket companies! I was absolutely thrilled to work with them to create lifestyle product photography for some of their most popular throws! These blankets are made in America from recycled cotton yarn. Plus they are so soft and cozy. I’ve only received compliments about them in my home!
The first step to creating these images was chatting with Jala (the owner) about her vision! Each one of my clients receives individual attention to ensure that their visual brand is consistent. During these conversation we chat about colors, aesthetics, modeled vs. not modeled, and so much more. For these images we decided that lifestyle product photography made the most sense for her brand and ideal client. Then we created a shoot plan, which included finalizing any “must have” photos!
Lifestyle photography is the best way to show your images in a realistic setting. Sometimes that means renting an airbnb or studio space to achieve your aesthetic and brand! That is what we did in this case. Other times lifestyle photography can be best achieved by coming to your location and photographing the product where it is created. Another option is that the product is best photographed outdoors and in action! Each product is unique so each collection of photographs should also be unique!
Once your product photos are delivered they can be used any number of ways! Seek and Swoon uses their product photography for their website, social media, and even email newsletter! We’ve all heard the phrase “consistency is key.” It’s so well know for a reason. Having consistent imagery creates a sense of trust in potential clients. Seeing the product in different settings, with different angles, close up and far away, all contribute to your visual brand. A strong visual brand creates a sense of credibility. So you potential customers feel like they know what they’re paying for.
