I am so blessed that I get to travel to beautiful places, and take pictures of wonderful souls. This trip to White Sands National Monument filled me with joy and excitement. As I pulled into the parking lot by the dunes the view took my breath away. White sands spread across the horizon every direction. Plus who doesn’t love a good road trip filled with yummy snacks and sing a long car music!?
Another rainy day in Tucson means there is snow once again on Mt. Lemmon! I’ve gotta say that snow has quickly become my favorite condition to shoot in. It’s so beautifully clean and simple. Surprisingly too it was not even that cold! The Tucson sun came to the rescue once again, and warmed up the mountainside.
I know that I’m biased, but I honestly think that Arizona is one of the most beautiful states in America. There is so much beauty packed into one place. Within a 4 hour drive of one another you can find vast deserts, beautifully waterfalls, expansive canyons, and of course beautiful red rocks. When Misty suggested we travel to Sedona for her family pictures I was absolutely ecstatic!
I absolutely #lovewhereIlive for so many reasons, but particularly for it’s warmth. You can sometimes catch me having a pool party in the middle of December. I am even writing this blog on the patio, drinking a lemonade, and enjoying the 70 degree weather! But just a few days ago we had a rare cold and rainy weekend, which resulted in snow on Mt Lemmon!! Of course I was thrilled to drive up the mountain for a change of scenery, and a fun filled snow day with Kellyna!!
I think having pictures taken of you and your family is one of the most important things that you can possibly do! In fact, taking family pictures is what got me into photography in the first place! I wanted to make sure I could look back at these moments, and share them with my friends and future family! So every year that my whole family is back in town we take family pictures! It is one of my favorite traditions, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
Mostly I’m taking pictures of the gals, but I absolutely love it when I get to take pictures of the guys! These shoots feel extra special to me because I don’t get to do them as often. Daniel is a musical theater major at the University of Arizona, and you should see him act! He is so talented, and I’m so glad that I’ve gotten to know him!
